Spouse Visa
Advice and application support for UK spouse visa and partner visa matters, including entry clearance, extensions and switching routes.
A UK spouse visa allows a person who is married to a British citizen or to a person settled in the UK to join or remain with their partner in the United Kingdom. For applicants applying from outside the UK the formal route is leave to enter as a spouse or civil partner; for those already in the UK seeking an extension it is further leave to remain as a spouse or civil partner.
The spouse route is one of the most heavily scrutinised in the Immigration Rules. The Home Office will test that the marriage or civil partnership is genuine and subsisting, that both parties intend to live together permanently, that the sponsoring partner meets the minimum income threshold, that there is adequate accommodation without recourse to public funds, and that the applicant meets the English language requirement at the correct level.
Our spouse visa service assesses your eligibility and any potential issues early, advises on the documents needed and how to obtain them, reviews your application form for accuracy and completeness, prepares a covering letter where appropriate and checks your supporting evidence before submission — giving you the strongest possible application to UKVI.
