2. What Personal Data We Collect

Because we provide immigration advice, we handle a range of personal data including special category data. This includes:

  • Name, address, date of birth and contact details
  • Passport, identity documents and travel documents
  • Immigration status and history
  • Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) details
  • Financial information relevant to your case
  • Family relationship information
  • Health information (where relevant to an application)
  • Nationality, ethnicity and country of origin
  • Correspondence and case-related documentation

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain client records for six (6) years after the closure of a case, in line with IAA regulatory requirements and limitation periods. After this period, records are securely deleted or destroyed.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We only share your personal data where necessary:

  • Home Office / UKVI — to submit applications on your behalf
  • Immigration tribunals and courts — where relevant to your case
  • Translators or interpreters — with your consent, where required
  • IAA — where legally required for regulatory compliance
  • ICO — in the event of a reportable data breach

We do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data (Subject Access Request)
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of data where legally appropriate
  • Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances
  • Data portability (where applicable)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the basis)

To exercise your rights, contact us in writing. We will respond within one month.

7. Data Security

We protect your data using password-protected systems, encrypted storage, restricted access controls, and locked storage for physical files. Only authorised personnel can access client data.

8. Data Breaches

Any data breach will be recorded internally, investigated promptly, and where legally required, reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) within 72 hours. Affected individuals will be informed where required by law.

9. Complaints to the ICO

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

10. Changes to This Notice

We review this Privacy Notice annually or earlier if required by changes in legislation. Updates will be posted on this page.
