How We Work

A clear, transparent process — so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you contact us.

At Legal i Services Ltd, every client receives the same professional, structured service — regardless of the complexity of their case. Here is our step-by-step process from first contact to case closure.

1

Initial Contact & Eligibility Check

Contact us by telephone, WhatsApp, email or through our website. We will carry out a brief initial assessment to determine whether your matter falls within our IAA Level 1 authorisation. If your matter is outside our scope, we will tell you immediately and direct you to an appropriately authorised adviser — at no charge to you.

2

Consultation

We arrange an in-person or online consultation (up to 60 minutes, from £50). During the consultation we review your immigration history and circumstances, assess your eligibility, discuss your options and next steps, and identify the documents required. We provide this advice in English or Bengali.

3

Client Care Letter & Letter of Authority

Before any further work begins, we issue you a Client Care Letter setting out the agreed scope of work, our fees, timescales, complaints procedure, and our regulatory details. We also ask you to sign a Letter of Authority authorising us to act on your behalf and communicate with the relevant authorities. No chargeable work begins until both documents are signed and returned.

4

Document Collection & Preparation

We provide you with a tailored document checklist and review all evidence you submit. We check documents for completeness, suitability and accuracy, identify any gaps, and prepare the application form and supporting representations where appropriate.

5

Submission & Liaison

We submit your application to the Home Office or relevant authority where authorised to do so, and liaise with them throughout the process. We keep you updated at key milestones and inform you promptly of any correspondence or action required from you.

6

Decision & Outcome Advice

When a decision is received, we explain the outcome clearly and advise on your next steps — whether that is entry to the UK, further action, or a referral to a higher-level adviser if appropriate. We will always be honest about your options, including where a decision has gone against you.

7

File Closure & Record Keeping

Upon conclusion of your matter, we close your file, return original documents, and archive your case securely. Files are retained for six years in accordance with IAA requirements and UK GDPR. You may request access to your file at any time during this period.

Quality & Supervision: All immigration advice is provided by or under the direct supervision of Habibur Rahman Tafader (IAA Adviser No. P059395, Level 1). We carry out self-review of all casework, use standardised checklists, and conduct periodic file audits to ensure accuracy, compliance with Level 1 scope, and quality of advice given.
